Your Wednesday.
Your pace.
A relaxed outdoor session where moving and meeting people matter more than keeping up.
Not merely a fitness class
The weekly foundation of the community.
Workout Wednesday gives us a regular time and place to show up for ourselves and one another. Some people may arrive ready to train. Others may begin with a walk, a stretch or a conversation.
You work at your own pace. Nobody is judged for stopping, adapting an exercise or simply coming along to see what it is like.
- Suitable for beginners
- No pressure to perform
- Relaxed, social and supportive
- Wear ordinary comfortable clothing

Find the meeting point
The bench by the tennis courts.
The outdoor calisthenics area is just off Coleridge Road. What3words will bring you to the right area; at 6pm, everyone meets at the park bench beside the tennis courts.
Simply take a seat and wait at the bench. If other people are nearby, ask whether they are there for Social Fitness. Even if they are not, you may have just introduced someone new to our little community.

The exact meeting point
Look for these benches beside the tennis courts.
This is where everyone meets at 6pm. If you are first to arrive, simply take a seat at one of the benches and wait for the others—or ask anyone nearby whether they are there for Social Fitness.
Stay connected afterwards
Workout Wednesday doesn’t have to finish when the session ends.
Join the UK Social Fitness Telegram community to chat with other members, hear about future sessions and stay involved.
Use the UK Social Fitness Strava Club if you would like to record your activity and encourage others.
Eventbrite remains the separate attendance route for Workout Wednesday. Telegram and Strava are optional community tools.Take the next step
